Irene Wintermyer: Deepest Desire — 11 Comments

  1. Amen! thanks for the reminder/ No one and nothing compares to the gift of His Spirit. It is an unfathomable kindness that He would walk so closely with us, and share Himself with man.

  2. Irene, I loved this! My favorite part was this: “When I’m focused on my needs and worries, instead of the gifts and blessings I already have, the enemy leads me to the pit of despair. But when I refocus my sights heavenward, God redirects my path towards His purpose and not my own.” Wow! Memorable!!!

  3. Loved “When I’m focused on my needs and worries, instead of the gifts and blessings I already have, the enemy leads me to the pit of despair.”

Irene, thanks for this Amen! God has already given us what is needed and that is one of the enemies ploys to keep our eyes on the other stuff. Lord help me to keep my eyes on you. Great word

  4. Thanks, J.D. I agree, it’s not always easy to trust, especially in the midst of struggles, but God will provide for our needs.

  5. Wonderful post ma’am; with such an important message. We must learn to trust that God will give us what He needs us to have, to complete His will for our lives. That doesn’t always align with our will, desire, and dreams. Part of learning to submit to Him I think. God’s blessings.
