Martin Wiles: Be Thrifty — 2 Comments

  1. Wise word, Martin. My mother also was thrifty, and did our meals from scratch, sewed a lot of our clothing, and did other things to conserve resources. God blesses us, and when we are conscience of how we use these resources, and are generous in giving to others, things work. Thank you for this devotion!

  2. I was raised like your grandmother and most of the time, I’m just that way. Save the leftovers, get a to-go box from the restaurant and have another meal, only buy what you really need, etc. That’s not to say that I’m not wasteful, at times, but making a conscious effort to be thrifty is important. It saves money and is good for the environment. Thanks for this important reminder. We can all make changes to help.
