VineWords Devotions and More

Martin Wiles: When God Hides

VineWords Devotions and More

I am familiar with hiding. Apart from the normal game of hide-n-seek, my cousin and I often invented other hiding games. We invented imaginary giants to hide from in my grandfather’s barns. If we chose to play cowboys and Indians, one group would hide. …

<i> am the vine, ye are the branches. He that abideth in me, and I in him,

the same beareth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Evelyn Mason Wells: Friends

I did not know Barbara before that day, but I had been given her phone number and was told she was looking for a carpool partner. We decided to meet for lunch. That way we could meet, and decide if we wanted to try carpooling together. As we sat down to eat, Barbara asked if we could pray first.
