About VineWords

VineWords: Devotions and More is a website dedicated to providing you, our reader, with devotions and other writings that will help you to deepen your relationship with Jesus Christ, The True Vine.

Our key verse is John 15:1, 4, 5. We aim to honor Jesus and to keep our dependency upon Him deep, so that our writing reflects this dependency, resulting in fresh inspiration from the Word of God, that will serve you effectively.

Our devotions have been shared in Austrailia, Canada, Peru, the USA, and various other places.

For our Hispanic readers, Pastor Victor Marcos, of Lima Peru and Virginia Beach, VA, provides the translation of many of our devotions.

Our award-winning authors and writers have published devotions at various places, such as:

*Answers2Prayer Ministries (The Sermon Illustrator/The Nugget)

<i> am the vine, ye are the branches. He that abideth in me, and I in him,

the same beareth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Lee Ann Mancini: The Greatest Invitation

Although we should eagerly accept the invitations Jesus extends to us, remember there is a second invitation that is open to us, one that we should answer with a resolute “No!” That invitation comes from the devil, who wants us to follow him instead of Jesus. Satan will use all kinds of lies and deceptions to try to convince us that his invitation is more promising than our Lord’s. He will tell us that he is going to throw us a party filled with all the things of the world—the things we can see, hear, and touch. Yet we must remember that his invitation comes at the cost of the heavenly things God has set before us that we cannot see, but we eagerly await in hope. …
