The Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you.

The morning rays from God’s shining face 
rise from heaven, taking their place. 

Giving way to His light of fire 
that overcomes evils that transpire. 

As it pours out its message of care,
it removes burdens too much to bear. 

It brings with it strength and console 
while casting light into your soul. 

Nothing is hidden from its blessing
as it shines down and brings refreshing. 

Before settling in for the night, 
the rays paint a beautiful sight. 

A picture of joy and promise 
that God’s face will always shine on us.
