Glenda Shouse: The Comforter — 8 Comments

  1. I was driving thru Atlanta at rush time one morning. I was so nervous with cars zooming past me and changing lanes from both sides. My co-worker with me said a prayer for calmness for me and safety for all of us. All of a sudden I felt a rush of calmness overcome my body and it settled my nerves that quickly. That was definitely a God thing as a result of that prayer!

  2. Thanks for sharing, Glenda. It is so hard to lose a parent. Thank God for His Holy Spirit who brings comfort to us during the hardest times in our life.

  3. It’s always hard when we lose someone close to us. As I prayed to Jesus days before my mother died, two years ago, He spoke to my heart and said He was with her and not to worry. This peace allowed me to be at her side, thrilled her destination was Heaven, until her last breath. Like you, I also supported my family during this difficult time. We all needs these encouraging words, Glenda. Thank you for sharing this!
