CONTRIBUTOR TEAM 2023
CHRISTY BASS ADAMS, CONTRIBUTOR

Christy Bass Adams is the Outreach and Connections Coordinator at Fellowship Baptist Church in Madison, Florida where she helps keep the Body of Christ connected to each other and to the needs of the community. She was an educator at both the elementary and collegiate levels for eighteen years and still volunteers in her sons’ classrooms.
A lover of words, Christy has a passion for writing that began in elementary school. She pens a weekly local newspaper column, Learning as I Go, and she maintains a regular blog. She is a regular devotion writer for VineWords: Devotions and More, and Inspire a Fire.
Christy is published at CBN, Inspire a Fire.com, Christian Devotions Ministries, and Inkspirations Online, The Secret Place, VineWords, and The Upper Room.
Christy is the author of the children’s devotional, Learning as I Go: Big Lessons from Little People. Her middle grades children’s novel, Cricket and Kyle: Imagination Checkers, is the first in a series she is penning, to be available in the fall of 2022.
Having silently struggled with a secret addiction for over a decade while maintaining a façade in church, Christy’s biggest desire is to see women set free. She regularly speaks at women’s events and at recovery facilities, sharing God’s message of hope and freedom. Honey Lake Clinic and Humble House are two ministries Christy regularly pours into through speaking and teaching.
Christy’s most important role, however, is with her family, as a wife of eighteen years and a mother of two busy, country boys. Having her own love for bad jokes, boogers, and bugs, raising boys is one of her greatest joys. Firepits, hammocks, fishing, and hunting are a way of life at the end of their North Florida dirt road and Christy wouldn’t trade this joy for anything.
Christy and her husband are building a house and doing the work themselves (with help from family and friends), taking the trees from stump to finished walls. Pickleball is her favorite sport. After learning to juggle in middle school, she teaches workshops on this subject.

DIANE VIRGINIA, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Diane Virginia (Cunio) is the Founder/Director of Song of Solomon Expeditions, the Founder/Executive Director of VineWords: Devotions and More, and the co-editor of the devotional series, Love-Knots: Stories of Faith, Family, and Friendships. She is the president of Word Weavers of Winston-Salem Chapter, NC.
She is the author of The Kiss of Peace: A Contemporary Exploration into Song of Solomon (Mount Zion Ridge Press), which placed third in the Sparrow Awards at the 2020 Asheville Christian Writer’s Conference, and was a Selah Awards Finalist 2022 at the Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writer’s Conference.
In The Kiss of Peace: A Contemporary Exploration into Song of Solomon (Mount Zion Ridge Press), Diane takes the reader on a journey into Beloved Jesus’ divine love for His Bride, the church. When Song of Solomon is viewed as an allegory, the reader understands she is “Love” and Jesus Christ is “Beloved Solomon” in the vignette. Her Bridegroom, the Beloved, wants to complete her in His love and peace.
The sequel, Behind the Veil: Becoming the Ascended Bride of Song of Solomon, is in the works. It is a Bible study/devotional. As the reader travels through seven mountain locations, each having spiritual significance to deepen her relationship with her Bridegroom Jesus Christ the Beloved, she becomes completed in His love and peace.
To complement the books on Song of Solomon, Diane has developed the model for motion-activated musical prayer centers for use in the garden retreat. She envisions the music of these prayer gardens to be themed to the seven mountain locations the Bride travels to in Song of Solomon, the gardens serving as refuges for seekers and believers alike where they can tarry, worship, and find or deepen their relationships with their Bridegroom Jesus Christ.
Diane is published at Answers2Prayer, Christian Broadcasting Network, Christian Devotions Ministries, Faith Beyond Fear, Inspire a Fire, Pentecostal Publishing House, PresbyCan Daily Devotional, The Secret Place, VineWords: Devotions and More, and other ministries.
