Victor Marcos, our Hispanic translator, has been working in the creative aspect of communications all his life, working as an art director, creative director, designer, and illustrator at advertising agencies, newspapers, and TV stations.
Ever since Victor received salvation in 1984 after calling the 700 Club prayer line, the Lord has placed a desire in his heart to be “A Communicator for His Kingdom.” He and his wife Angela were ordained as Ministers to do missionary work by Pastor Bonnie Kahn of Agape International in Tennessee and Pastor Steve Kelly of Wave Church in Virginia. During the last twenty-five years, Victor has organized and participated in several church mission trips to South America. He has also had the privilege of connecting U.S.-based ministries to ministries in Peru and Chile, even collaborating with Pedro Ferreira of Pacific Communications Peru to invite Dr. Pat Robertson to come to Peru in 2006. (As a result of the humanitarian and ministerial work that CBN and Operation Blessing have been doing in Peru for years, the Peruvian Congress awarded in 2011 a Diploma of Honor and recognition to Reverend Pat Robertson and CBN.)
While Victor still does illustrations, caricatures, prophetic painting, and English to Spanish translations, he is full of passion to see the kingdom of God in Peru and in all the world.

Shanda Neighbors’s island upbringing has afforded her the ability to pardon Eve. She too enjoys gardening and picking produce. Her husband eats all she offers him. No questions. She enjoys serving large crowds, but she’s a natural overfeeder. She will supply too much nourishment no matter the crowd size. Food is her love language.
She was born raised in the Bahamas. This has determined both her internal clock and thermostat. She struggles with being on time and is not trusted to set the temperature anywhere. You can always find her outdoors…over 60 and sunny…probably in a jacket. Anyone who invites her to go skiing hates her. Period.
Shanda is a miraculous work in progress. She credits her family with helping that work along. Chief among them is her husband who has demonstrated the power of love and patience. Outside of Jesus, she has had no greater advocate than her beef-and-potatoes husband. The couple shares two daughters who have brought them closer to the Lord and to each other. Their daughters are their treasures who have enriched their lives with wisdom, wonder, and play.
She is passionate about truth and the reputation of God. This translates into her speaking and writing. Her goal is to live amazed by the love, glory, power, and goodness of our God, and of the Lord Jesus Christ, and to share His story with as many people as possible.
Shanda is a devotion writer for VineWords: Devotions and More and a contributing author to Love Knots: Stories of Faith, Family, and Friendships (VineWords Publishing).
Shanda is a devotion speaker at Word Weavers Piedmont-Triad, North Carolina, and she is available for speaking engagements. Her long-term goal is to enter the media industry.
