About Sharon Davis

Sharon Davis grew up in an era when Sunday afternoons were spent on the front porch visiting with neighbors. She uses her upbringing as a farmer’s daughter in the deep south of Georgia to write about relationships, risks, and faith. Her work is deeply entrenched in the imagery of the south from the vast swamplands to the moss-covered oaks, and the struggles particular to that region. Sharon is published at Christian Devotions, Inkspirations, Refresh Magazine (Lighthouse Publishing), and VineWords: Devotions and More. She is a contributing author to Abba’s Lessons (Cross River Media-Dee Dee Lake), A Memoir of Mothers (Southern Christian Writer’s Conference) and When Life Gives You Lemons: Short Stories to Make You Smile (Southern Christian Writer’s Conference). Her short story, “Losing Mama”, won first place at the 2018 Southern Christian Writer’s Conference. Sharon is a retired pharmacist, mother to three, and grandmother to three. You can usually find her playing with her grandkids, talking to her friends, or sipping’ on sweet tea. She enjoys her daily walks and talking to her Savior.
