Diane Virginia: An Expected Visitor (3-Min) — 10 Comments

  1. Wow! This is such an incredible story Diane. I hope you meet both ladies in Heaven someday. Great reminder to keep these encounters in my prayers. Only God’s Spirit can change a heart.

  2. Loved this story, Diane. Wow, I admire the way you profess your faith in the face of an anti-Christ spirit. I hope the young woman returned to pray with you. A good example of boldness through the power of the Holy Spirit. xoxo

  3. Beautiful story, Diane. I’m so glad you shared your experience with the two ladies that God sent to your door.

    • Thank you sister. I believe God arranged that because He wanted the seeking lady to find Him and the other lady too.

  4. Of course 1 Peter 3:15 immediately came to mind my friend. I also had to smile and chuckle softly to myself and I swore you were writing about my adopted mama. She kept a Bible on the back of the couch just inside the door, with specific passages tabbed for easy reference. When we meet, I’ll have to share her “Saturday Morning Sabotage” story with you. Let us always be prepared. God’s blessings Ms. Diane.

  5. Wow Diane!! That was such a powerful story that I am sure many can relate too. What a bold stand Jenny took for the Kingdom. It made my spirit jump this morning just thinking about her standing up for the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Amen. Thank you for the Holy Spirit leading you to write this piece it speaks on so many levels about our walk as believers. Amen.

    • Thank you, Charles. I am “Jenny” in the story, but I wrote it as a parable so it was more relatable. I felt for both ladies, but especially for the lady who was being manipulated. She obviously was looking for Jesus, but she did not know that and was being confused. It was sooo sad, but I am positive God sent her to my door as an answer to her desire to meet God, and as an answer to the Bible study prayer.
