I love Royal Aappointment. Although I am not sure why it made me realize that I’m still going through grief over the loss of my mother and when Jesse lost her fiance it just compounded it. After reading your story I remembered that Jesus sent my angel David to see me when I was a child and I spent time in Thanksgiving for them and it helped me and I’m thankful for you because you are my Earth angel and I appreciate you very much love you

    • Diane says:

Thanks, Terry, for the kind comments. God connects us as a “family” of believers. The best and most complete comfort is from the LORD Himself, who never leaves us nor forsakes us, and is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. Especially in times of loss or hardships, it is good to know He is there for us, as are our brothers and sisters in the LORD. I am glad you enjoyed reading The Royal Appointment. Please share it with others so it can minister to them also. Shalom!

      • Terry says:

Is it okay to share it on Facebook I mean the site?
And thank you so much reading your stories. It has encouraged me to start writing again and I sent a draft to one of my friends because I didn’t want to send it to you until I thought it was much better.

Anyway this last month God told me just was a time of new beginnings but Jesse and myself and part of that was I was supposed to continue the writing that he told me to do quite a long time ago so here I go

Please do share the VineWords Stories and Devotions link on social media, but don’t post the story/devotion. Facebook, etc. is public domain, and these are copyrighted.

About your writing, congratulations! The best advice I can give you as you begin this journey is to plan on attending a writer’s conference every year. This will help you to learn the industry, and connect with other writers.

First of all I want to say fantastic blog! I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear your thoughts before writing. I enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are usually wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or tips? Thank you!

  28. Tilly Fowler says:

What a gift from God you have precious sister. I loved all the stories, but the Lord had just spoken to me about coming “up”. I absolutely receive that as confirmation. So many times we are looking here and there and everywhere when all that we need is in HIM. He wants us to come up. I also loved the Cardigan, it so reminds me of what true love is all about. You have great talent lady, and I’ll send to others.

    • Diane says:

Thank you, sis Tilly. I appreciate your kind remarks. Also thanks for letting others know about VineWords.

  29. Dennis McCown says:

I couldn’t stop reading. With every word I kept going deeper and deeper following Diane’s pen into the “CEO” hoping David would heed that still small voice and run like so many times before, Into the arms of God. But no, not this time, for Satan was at work spinning a sticky dark web looking for an “whosoever to devour.” And devour he did. Now I want to see the movie.

    • Diane says:

Thanks, Pastor Dennis! Are any movie producers out there willing to take on Pastor Dennis’ challenge? (LOL!) The CEO was not easy for me to write because it was from a man’s perspective, but I thought the ideas were important to communicate. The CEO is a excerpt from The Kiss of Peace in a chapter that discusses when we are most vulnerable to Satanic attack. It is when we have position, power, and a developing anointing like the CEO of this story did.

  30. “The CEO” is good encouragement to avoid the trappings of temptation.

    • Diane says:

      Thanks Pastor Tony!

Friends, please check out Pastor Tony’s website. He and his wife Susan are talented musicians and gifted in preaching and teaching the Word of God.

  36. S. Settles says:
